ABOUT ME

I'm a wildlife and nature photographer from Anchorage, Alaska.  I'm happiest outside and have lived in Alaska since 1989.  I've always loved how beautiful and big this land is.  It's humbling.

 

I'm a self taught photographer.  I've always had a camera in hand but I really began pushing myself to learn manual settings, composition, etc. since 2014 and I am still growing, although with a more refined eye these days.

I became a grandmother for the first time in November 2021 and this site was launched in conjunction with the birth of this amazing boy! Considering the harmful warming of our planet, it seems like a good time to show life in Alaska as it is today because it's changing so quickly and we don't know what will be lost in the coming years.
